When I created this abstract seascape, my intention was not only to paint the sea, but above all to show the sensation that one can feel at the edge of the ocean in winter.
- The sun is pale and low, the clouds are confused with the horizon. The surface of the sea is white and we guess the deep blue color of the seabed.
The icy wind swirling in all directions creates wavelets on the surface of the water.
Most people know the sea in summer,… the beach, the baths, the sun, it's very beautiful but, living in Brittany on the Atlantic coast, I have the chance to enjoy, to breathe the magic of the mysterious ocean when the sea and the sky are one, when the cold wind blows, when I hear in the distance the shrill cry of a gull.
