About this artwork
I like the idea of a self-portrait combined with the imagined AI version of the self. Our personal identity is something we deal with minute by minute, day by day, hour by hour and that no-one else can truly understand. In the social media age our sense of self-identity has become more obsessive, more defined, more confused. What is the self? Who are we really? What do we truly look like? To ourselves and to others.
