About this artwork
My grandfather was a tank fitter during the Second World War and landed in Gold Beach on D-Day. Recently I uncovered his text books and drawings from when he was in training. He wasn't known for his artistic side but some of the drawings I found were beautifully precise in their rendering and geometric arrangement.
