About this artwork
I grew up in a old converted police station dating from the 1700's and was surrounded by antiques, art and music. My parents were children of the sixties and were big fans of the blues. It has influenced my life and resonates in the music I listen to today. This early portrait is an interpretation of the legendary Muddy Waters portrayed in a deep blue background.
