About this artwork
There are too many people
And not enough stuff
They're all crowding together
In front of their screens
They're not looking at you
They're not looking at me
They're looking in the mirror
And scrolling through stuff
Life can be meaningless
If you don't search for the truth
But I'm coming out fighting
If I don't I will lose
I wish there was plenty
At least enough to go 'round
But I look at the Oceans
And I look at the forests
I look at the ice-caps…
And I look at the wars
And I just can't help thinking
That there are too many people
And not enough stuff
Ignoring each other
And fading
And fading
And fading
And losing their touch.
And not enough stuff
They're all crowding together
In front of their screens
They're not looking at you
They're not looking at me
They're looking in the mirror
And scrolling through stuff
Life can be meaningless
If you don't search for the truth
But I'm coming out fighting
If I don't I will lose
I wish there was plenty
At least enough to go 'round
But I look at the Oceans
And I look at the forests
I look at the ice-caps…
And I look at the wars
And I just can't help thinking
That there are too many people
And not enough stuff
Ignoring each other
And fading
And fading
And fading
And losing their touch.
