About this artwork
The work "inside-between" unfolds an abstract pictorial structure that oscillates between interior space and a state of transition. At its core are finely tuned forms and lines that are not clearly separated from one another, but rather merge into each other, thus creating a fluid in-between space.
The composition appears multi-layered: Overlapping layers and transparent structures allow different levels to be visible simultaneously. This creates… the impression that the events are taking place both within a system and at its boundaries.
The color palette displays a sensitive interplay of calmer and more vibrant tones, enhancing the depth of the pictorial space. The transitions appear soft and organic, creating a tranquil, almost meditative atmosphere.
inside-between thus conveys the feeling of a state in between – a moment in which structures form, shift and rearrange themselves, like hidden processes of the emergence of reality.
