About this artwork
This work is in a way apart, first of all because of its process of realization, integrating the cutting of the canvas and the sewing of the three parts, but also by its theme less sociological than artistic and technical. Thomas Pourcelot Wonsungee wanted here to pay tribute to Alfred Hitchcock's well-known film, cinema and experimentation in terms of visual editing. The filmmaker's unpublished plans, deliberately sequenced montages come to play…
with the perceptions that the viewer can make of reality; they come almost to highlight our inability to analyze objectively: everything is history of context and environment.
