The Buffalo is a representative of the great American West. The artist, growing up in Oklahoma, has seen the Buffalo his whole life and been intrigued by the rich history of the animal. Thomas Stotts is an award-winning American artist whose paintings have been exhibited in the United States. His artistic practice was at one time primarily concerned with photorealistic renderings. However, Stotts expression progressed into the creation of atmospheric landscapes. All of his compositions, including abstracts, are imbued with engaging textural elements. He most often creates using acrylics on canvas.
