When I created this image, I was inspired by the idea of a bubbling, pulsating abstract landscape imbued with inner fire.
The glowing red elements radiate a magical energy that calms down towards the horizon.
In every brushstroke there is a powerful passion that unfolds spontaneously and unbridled.
If you feel warmth and liveliness when looking at this work, perhaps even discover your own associations and emotions, then that… fills me with genuine joy.
I used mainly acrylic paints, complemented by delicate accents with colored pencils to highlight certain details.
The canvas is stretched on a stretcher frame and framed in an elegant black shadow gap frame that shows off the picture to its best advantage.
