The work unfolds a dark, almost cosmic visual power. From a deep black, a circular vortex opens up, simultaneously reminiscent of a sun, a wounded planet, an explosion, or a process of creation. In the center, traces, scratches, fragments of light, and bursts of color coalesce into an energetically charged zone. The image appears as if matter is pushing forth from the depths or, in the same instant, being pulled back into them.
Despite its dark… overall mood, the work radiates an extreme, almost sunny energy. Yellow and light areas flash like glowing remnants of an inner light. They contrast with the brutal blackness, the surface damage, and the violent gestural marks. Violence, dissolution, and compression appear here not as opposites, but as simultaneous forces.
