About this artwork
This photograph was made on location. Sometime ago I began working with photography subjects, not for their obvious physical attributes but rather for how they might affect light. It didn’t matter whether the viewer could recognize these objects. All that mattered was that I could somehow isolate and work only with the light and color reflecting, refracting, and shining from them. The initial image is then reworked and refined over a period of days…
to complete the composition.
This is an archival pigment print on museum quality 100% cotton rag paper using a custom calibrated 12-color pigment ink printer. The pigment inks I use are designed for image fidelity and longevity. Each print is signed, numbered and packaged using acid free materials. NOTE: This extremely high-resolution image is available at most any size 40 x 60 inches and beyond, as well as on alternative materials such as canvas.
