« My paintings are typically autobiographical, the ideas for which stem from moments of personal significance or intriguing conversations I have had with people. »
Tim Galton is an award-winning artist based in the United Kingdom whose works have been widely exhibited in England. Painting exclusively from life with oils, his artistic practice endeavors to capture the essence of his subject matter. In Galton's most recent compositions, there is a recurrent exploration of the relationship between the formal elements of a painting’s subject matter, untouched canvas, and mark-making that is left unresolved.
