About this artwork
How often have I heard the comment Veggie food is boring yet for me it has been an exciting creative colourful journey in the kitchen and now reflected in the studio.
Hummus, beetroot mousse and salsa verde were the basis for two sumptuous plates eagerly finished. The swirls and abstract shapes, reflected in the cutlery shouted 'paint me' and how could I refuse.
Neon paints have been used to create the true vibrancy of the food applied in thick… layers with palette knife to provide the rich texture of the food.
This work would grace any foodies kitchen or dining room or the walls of any restaurant. This is the first in a proposed series.
