‘Friday Night Drinks’ is a street level perspective that captures the reflected lights of inner city bars and restaurants in a manhole cover and wet street.
I’ve painted a bokeh effect in this cityscape artwork, the term comes from the Japanese word boke which means ‘blur’ or ‘haze’. Although the bokeh effect is primarily a photographic technique I’ve replicated it here to accentuate the distort
