About this artwork
If I had to describe this artwork in one word it would be: Cinematic. I've been on the looking for an inspiring Sydney scene for some time and this one demanded to be painted. While the view would be familiar to anyone who has visited the historic area of The Rocks in Sydney Australia, I was drawn to it's moody almost foreboding quality as if a screen grab from a horror movie. What lies in the shadows and what's happening within the well lit interior…

Painted with an airbrush in synthetic polymer on aluminium board mounted on a stretched canvas, colored pencil was also partially used to render the trees. This artwork is ready to hang and has a stained Tasmanian oak shadow frame with the framed dimensions of 64cm (w) x 64cm (h) x 5.5cm
