About this artwork
Artworks can evoke recollections of time, place, people and feelings, for me ‘Waiting’ takes me back to my high school and University days in New Zealand. During winter when the days were short I would often find myself at some cold, wet bus stop waiting for a bus that was usually late or didn't turn up at all, hoping for a seat and a quick ride home.
