In creating this piece, I sought to explore the antithetic facets of trauma. The figure, part human, part wolf, embodies the raw, untamed spirit and the emotional complexity that lingers within the trauma. The delicate female is tending to her wounds in the river while her soreness triggers a fierce and feral beast reaction.
