« There is no limitation to what an artwork can be a reflection of. I seek the divine and healing in my work. »
Tom Chung is an American artist whose paintings have been exhibited both nationally and in Russia. He describes his art as attempting to "bridge the gap between the sacred and profane". Chung explores a range of topics from race, to sexuality, spirituality, and psychology. He creates in an intuitive manner and chooses the medium based on his concept. His distinctive compositions are most often painted using acrylics, oils, graphite, and gouache on canvas, wood, or paper.
