About this artwork
In my work I have combined acrylic and C-print to create a composition that challenges the viewer with powerful fields of color. Each segment represents an emotion, a thought, with the strong colors creating a lively atmosphere. This work on paper brings energy and a palette of sensations to any room, it is an invitation to continually rediscover the interplay of structure and color.

The German artist Tom Gefken was born in Bremen in 1960, where he still lives today. He is a founding member of the Galerie des Westens GaDeWe in Bremen and works as a freelance artist in a variety of areas including painting, assemblage, object and installation.
Gefken's works have been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad.
His works can be seen in public spaces.
He is represented in private collections.
