This series of paintings on thick artist quality paper is an offshoot of Tom's mixed media paintings, therefore sharing the same principles and aims. The advantage of working on paper allows works to be made more frequently.
Tom's practice is largely inspired by contrasts in nature and between nature and man. His work inspires an appreciation of opposites and celebrates them with colour, texture and form.
