About this artwork
Inspired by Willem de Kooning my practice is largely inspired by contrasts of colour, texture and form. Tom's work inspires an appreciation of opposites and celebrates the differences between man and nature.
The process of making this work, was firstly to create the composition of a green yet urban landscape, then to abstract it to create something more interesting and complex.

Tom Glendenning is an artist based in Spain whose paintings have been exhibited internationally.
