About this artwork
A colorful wall, the golden yellow parts of which I have extended and painted over with gold paint. Gold like the evening sun. The half-ruined part is attractive and forms interesting structures. Mixed media, photo transfer print, painted over and colored.

Tom Hartmann, born March 1, 1956, is a communications graduate, married, and has one daughter. He began painting motorcycle tanks and party room walls with imaginative motifs at an early age, but began concentrating on music in 1973. In addition to countless performances in small clubs, at festivals, and open-air events, a particular highlight was his performance as support act for "The Hooters" in September 2010. He has released eight recordings with various projects.
After his last performance in 2020, he is now active as a freelance artist, working with painting, photography, and strange objects. He is an architecture fan, enjoys Bauhaus and loft living. As a communications and advertising expert, he prefers clear, simple, and understandable messages. His images are usually in bold colors, often reminiscent of comics or graphic, flat representations. A carefree mix of materials and collages lend his works a certain lightness.
