About this artwork
A wall with beige and golden yellow and lots of purple and grey accents. As always in this series, painted over, this time also contoured with acrylic wax crayons. When masonry is created on the island of Elba from any stone that can be found or simply from building rubble, it is always attractive and interesting structures are formed. Mixed media, photo transfer printing, painted over and painted.

Tom Hartmann, born March 1, 1956, is a communications graduate, married, and has one daughter. He began painting motorcycle tanks and party room walls with imaginative motifs at an early age, but began concentrating on music in 1973. In addition to countless performances in small clubs, at festivals, and open-air events, a particular highlight was his performance as support act for "The Hooters" in September 2010. He has released eight recordings with various projects.
After his last performance in 2020, he is now active as a freelance artist, working with painting, photography, and strange objects. He is an architecture fan, enjoys Bauhaus and loft living. As a communications and advertising expert, he prefers clear, simple, and understandable messages. His images are usually in bold colors, often reminiscent of comics or graphic, flat representations. A carefree mix of materials and collages lend his works a certain lightness.
