Tommaso Pensa is an award-winning Italian painter who has exhibited his paintings nationally, as well as in the United Kingdom and Spain. Primarily a figurative artist, he describes his favorite subject as being hands. For Pensa, the hands are a representation of life and the only part of the body that does not lie, mirroring a person's experiences. He also depicts female forms, wherein his utilization of light and shadow creates engaging, atmospheric, and emotive compositions.
