Series: Life is Beautiful
"The Sound" from the "Life is Beautiful" series features a vibrant and playful color combination. The bold pink and blue tones create a dynamic reminiscent of melodies, light and carefree. The textured surface invites you to take a closer look, as if a quiet story were hidden within the layers. The image is intended to convey joy and lightness; it acts as a moment that invites… you to pause and enjoy. In the sound of silence lies the wisdom to grasp the unspoken and see the world anew.
(*) "Life is Beautiful" is a series of abstract works whose woven structures are reminiscent of textile patterns. Just as stories have been woven into fabrics in many cultures since time immemorial, these works also convey memories, states of mind, and identity. The images combine rhythm with stillness—as visual narratives of color and form.

The German-Bolivian artist Toni Nohe studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg and the Kraków Art Academy. She works with painting, photography, and textile art. In her abstract visual language, she combines color theory with the symbolism of Andean cultures. Her works emerge from a dynamic interplay of transparency, line, and structure. She interweaves narrative and organic elements, creating spaces that facilitate harmony, joy, and reflection. She consciously uses color as a means of promoting well-being—inspired by the findings of positive psychology. Her works have been shown internationally and are included in private and public collections in Europe, North, and South America.
