Tony Gregg is an abstract painter from Rhode Island, with a BFA from Bowling Green State University, whose Midwest roots and persistent curiosity shape his practice. He works intuitively with paint, building each canvas by hand and employing gestural techniques—swells, spirals, drips, and smears—that evoke movement, tension, and cycles of memory. His distinctive style hovers between spontaneity and control, inviting chance and ambiguity.
