About this artwork
This piece represents one of the two themes that my body of work consists of. This is one of the more true nature ones (with a twist, always with a twist). This is Puppet on a String. It portaits a woman in a powerful athletic pose, hanging in the air. When I thought I had finished the piece, I realized that it was totally uninteresting, it lacked something. So, as many times before, in the spur of the moment I came up with the idea to string her…
up like a puppet. I also livened up the background to fit the situation, thus the dynamic pattern of circles. This pattern appears in some of my other works.
