Through this digital creation, I captured the Duomo’s majestic beauty under the mysterious night sky. The interplay of shadow and light surrounds the architecture with a timeless, almost magical energy. I wanted to evoke awe and serenity, inviting viewers to feel the powerful spirit and history radiating from every detail—bringing a sense of wonder and calm into your space.
Tony Schweikle is a painter and photographer with a background in graphic arts and film, rooted in both Colorado’s mountains and Italy’s southern shores. He works primarily with acrylic and oil on large canvases, using brushes, sponges, fingers, and palette knives to create bold, Western-themed works inspired by vivid landscapes and personal imagery. His art exudes a rugged vibrance, inviting viewers to feel both the grandeur of nature and the depth of human emotion. Tony is a DGA director. He has two feature films on Amazon Prime, "The Hybrids Family & Rum and Hot Peppers/Sacrificial." He began his creative career at age 16, playing drums in jazz and blues clubs in Chicago. Moved on to photography and painting. All paintings exhibited here are Fine Art copies on framed canvas, signed and numbered 1-150.
