About this artwork
The flames leaping from the man's head symbolize the often unseen turmoil and passion internalized by unhoused city dwellers, juxtaposing the outward normalcy of a simple walk down the street. Better angels are in all of us yet most choose not to exercise that ability to just offer help, a kind word or just a smile. My "colorsense" muse represents those of us who see and will do something to help when given the opportunity.
