After training as a graphic designer, he turned to abstract painting. For over twenty years, he has worked as a freelance illustrator, combining painting with a spirit of artistic experimentation. In the tension between his origins and the present, he discovered the dynamism and complexity of abstraction, whose energy flows into his work like the quiet power of thought. This interplay continues to shape his work: nature and everyday life, movement and stillness, density and emptiness stand in contrast to one another and find a delicate balance in his compositions. His works move between color field painting and experimental representations. Through the conscious choice of diverse materials, he intensifies the feeling of transience and the almost inconspicuous.
