When I created this piece, I wanted to capture that fleeting, unexpected spark of joy that can emerge even on the grayest, rainiest days. For me, this work is a symbol of absolute freedom—there was no preconceived plan or rigid structure, only intuition and the free play of colors.
The title, 'Pensée pluvieuse' (Rainy Thought), serves as a poetic contrast to the canvas itself. I wanted to show that our inner thoughts… can remain vibrant, bright, and full of energy, regardless of the weather outside.
Technically, the artwork is defined by its rich, impasto texture. The thick acrylic strokes create a three-dimensional effect on the canvas, allowing the painting to change and 'breathe' as the light shifts throughout the day. This piece is perfect for someone looking to bring a source of constant energy, movement, and optimism into their space. I am Tsia Tskhovrebashvili. I chose to be an artist. I live and create in Marseille, France, raising my three children. Art is my daily breath, woven into my life alongside my other essential roles. I create every single day for those who find their sustenance and soul in art.
Poetry and painting have been inseparable parts of me since childhood. For years, I created "in the shadows," driven by a deep personal vision. Despite the challenges of emigration, art remained my constant companion. I am proud that my work has now gained international recognition and appreciation. To me, painting is a transformation of energy—a dialogue where poetry becomes color. This rebirth, shared with my children, has turned past shadows into a future of light.
