Twyla Gettert is an American artist whose paintings have been exhibited both nationally and in Japan. It is always her intent to tell a story through her art, evoking feelings, touching someones' being, and bringing peace, inspiration, and joy into people's lives. Inspired by abstract expressionism and the Sumi-e masters, Gettert combines both the analytical with a direct creative flow. Her striking compositions are created using oils, acrylics, India ink, and monotype on paper or canvas.
