Ugo Li is a French painter who has exhibited his work internationally - including in the United States, Canada, France and Thailand. Often drawing inspiration from the colourful advertising displays that saturate our society, he plays with words and slogans to adorn them with a pictorial purpose, removing them from their original context. Thematically, his paintings explore the intersections of dreams, memory, personal history and everyday life.
