About this artwork
Piece suitable for outdoor use. Mule deer life size galloping. I wanted to represent the movement and balance, capturing an instant in the execution of the jump. To do this, I made a careful study of forces, which allowed the sculpture to be tilted forward, with the intention of giving a sense of advancement.
Concave lines predominate, which through a synthesis, play with empty space, with the idea that the eye of the viewer draws what is "missing".…
It is a work of assembling pieces that form different volumes and that allow to shape the bone and muscular structure of this animal.
I wanted to give a touch of "scrap metal art" and that is why I made the antlers with ferrallas formed in the forge.
The rest is made of steel sheet on a golden natural travertine base.
The name of the work is reminiscent of the mysterious Princess of Ukok, also known as the Ice Lady, a mummy of a woman from the 5th century BC. C.
Detachable in 3 pieces.
