About this artwork
"Split Harmony" depicts two faces that merge yet remain separate. Flowing lines unite the two figures into a single form, while warm hues of red, orange, and yellow create tension and energy. The work plays with the idea of duality—closeness and distance, unity and individuality, harmony and contrast.
The figures' intense gazes invite the viewer to reflect on inner dialogues and the various facets of their own personality. Despite the clear separation,… a quiet connection emerges, bringing the image into a calm, almost meditative balance.

I am Uli Fischer, a painter and textile artist from Lake Constance.
In my work, I combine powerful colors, clear shapes, and urban influences to create contemporary, unique pieces with a strong visual presence.
My art moves between Pop Art, Urban Art and portraits and thrives on the interplay of intuitive expression, graphic elements and mixed media techniques with textile structures that give the works additional depth and tactility.
Each piece is an original work of art, embodying joy, energy, and imagination – a conscious counterpoint to the monotony of everyday life. My work is particularly well-suited for modern living spaces, lofts, and creative work environments.
My works are held in private collections both in Germany and abroad. Commissions, such as portraits in my style, are possible by arrangement.
