« I don’t paint pretty, perfect pictures. »

Uro Erichsen is an artist based in South Africa whose paintings have been exhibited both nationally and in Italy. His work explores the frontiers of the human psyche in relation to its environment. Erichsen portrays "people, places, joy, and pain" through acrylics and oils in an "unapologetic rawness". He garners inspiration from the iconic Spartan coastline and prefers to create in solitude.
