About this artwork
It is dark deep down, no more light shines into the depths of the sea. And yet, sometimes, not very deep down, but at some depth some rays of light reach the bottom. A painting with a lot of depth, but also a lot of light, so in a figurative sense one could see it that the artist wants to give hope with this parable. Even in the abysses, in the secret, there is light and hope. You just have to find them and look for them first. The different shades… of blue have an unbelievable depth, an intensity and calm that immediately cast a spell over the viewer. An almost representational picture, yet with a completely abstract and expressive approach, as can also be seen in the "illuminated" turquoise areas. A grandiose work in the "Water" series, which the artist required a lot of patience and a thorough examination of the subject and the medium of oil. The work has yet to be dormant and will soon be available for sale online.
« Painting is my freedom, my passion, my love, my life. »
Ute Bivona is an experienced German painter who has exhibited her work nationally and internationally. As a child, she often felt abandoned and alone and fled into the magical world of colors, painting, drawing and reading to feel better. Through her lively abstract compositions, she tries to express her moods, thoughts, fears, hopes, sadness and joy and to take the viewer into her joyful, peaceful and, above all, colorful world.
