About this artwork
In 2019 I had my burnout. I felt paralyzed, every movement cost endless energy and time, the depression took over and I had no idea how to go on. During this time I was often outside in nature and in the botanical garden here in Munich. That gave me strength, I could collect myself, breathe calm and find new hope. Since then, flowers, plants, gardens and especially botanical gardens have been a recurring source of healing. When I look at other cities…
and there is a botanical garden there, I have to go. In this work I expressed my intense passion and emotions through the expressive use of acrylic paints. The abstract composition captures the vitality and dynamic beauty of a blooming nature. Colorful explosions set a powerful sign of hope and rebirth. This painting will spread an atmosphere of renewal and energy in any room.
