About this artwork
This work of art is a successful example of the spatula and squeegee technique that the artist used in this small edition. In this small square work the use of different directions is added. An abstract design that still looks almost landscape. The lower part of the water, the upper part maybe a sunset, or rocks rising from the water. as the pasty oil paints partially leave the substrates free. There are ups and downs, grooves and cracks, which makes the overall composition interesting and profound.
