I collected these flotsam and jetsam pieces on the Danish Baltic coast and in the Shetland Islands. The blue, green, and white shards of bottle glass, rounded by the sea waves, shimmer in different nuances depending on the light. The background, iridescent in various shades of white, is painted in a picturesque style. The porcelain shards echo the colors of the bottle glass.
