About this artwork
This picture was taken in my garden in May and captures the fresh, lively mood of a spring day. The focus is on the large, white flowers of the tree peony. In the foreground, delicate pink and dark blue columbines complete the scene, while bright blue forget-me-nots shimmer between the green leaves of the autumn crocus. Part of the garden path and a small corner of the pond provide subtle accents in the background. The blue-violet flowers of the…

I captured the special atmosphere with quick, strong brushstrokes. The pasty application of paint and the targeted use of shadows give the picture depth and dynamism. The high-quality, four-layer primed canvas is hand-stretched, the edges are painted and the picture is provided with a steel wire for secure hanging. It can be hung up straight away. My signature is on the front.
