« The central theme of my work is "What is a home?" Or "Is there a home? »
In my artistic work, I explore identity, origin, and time. I am interested in the interplay of these concepts and their complexity. I work with various media—painting, sculpture, textiles—to open up different perspectives. Memory and the past play a central role. I am interested in how memories shape identity and how the past influences our present. I question linear notions of time and show how identity is formed from superimposed temporal layers. My works invite us to question fixed ideas of past and future and to understand time as a multifaceted phenomenon. In doing so, I bridge the gap between individual identity and collective belonging in the context of cultural and historical structures.
