About this artwork
In this work made with pen and felt-tip pen, I have staged the very famous
Homer Simpson. Each stroke illustrates the passion and drive needed to pursue one's dreams. Words like "Hard Work", "Dream", and "Boom" embody challenges and bursts of success. This design inspires one to embrace everyday challenges and relentlessly pursue their aspirations, adding a breath of motivation and color to any living space.
Valco (born in 1981) is a self-taught artist whose universe draws its roots in graffiti, the street and contemporary calligraphy, laying the foundations of a raw and instinctive visual language.
Today, his lettering, sometimes repeated, sometimes superimposed, forms dense and vibrant compositions that invite the viewer to immerse themselves in a careful reading. Between abstraction and writing, his works exude a singular energy where emotions, messages and punchlines intertwine.
Valco inscribes his style in the tradition of street art, while asserting a personal identity deeply marked by calligraphy. His creations demonstrate a constant dialogue between spontaneity and graphic rigor, offering a space where urban rhythms, intimate moods and contemporary pulses intersect.
