« I love the active use of rich colors in my work, it is intense, energetic, and powerful. »
Valentina Kachina is an artist based in Ukraine whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Impressionism, "which laid the foundation for modern science of color science" is the central theme that underlies her works. Kachina's distinctive landscapes are often created in plein air. She favors painting with watercolors, employing the alla prima technique on paper.
