About this artwork
Symbol of procreation and therefore of life, eggs are the promise of hatching, of becoming. In this piece where a woman and a bird face each other, an exchange takes place...but who gives and who receives? This is the mystery of creation. It is also the theme of the annunciation which is evoked with an Angel-Bird carrying the Good News.
