It was supposed to be my usual ode to the City I love so much.
“Running veins of city’s life
Through our nature’s calm.”
I was about to start painting tiny cars and busses and trucks, but then I looked at it.
Really looked at it... and the realisation hits me... The Lockdown. The Pause in the world’s rat race.
That’s how it must have looked like for the birds from above.
The whole beautiful city is frozen in uncertainty of a new era of isolation… and fear. But humankind will bounce back to life as always.
This painting - is a Story of Change, Crisis and Hopeful Beginnings.
