About this artwork
“Atomic Suite" is a fragment of pure energy enclosed in an intimate format.
This work is part of my "Conceptual Jewels" series, a collection born from the desire to treat the canvas not only as a pictorial surface, but as a precious object, a talisman of color and thought.
In this composition, I wanted to explore chromatic vibration through a gradient that fades from the serenity of blue to the vitality of bright pink. The vertical brushstrokes,… visible and material, create a structured rhythm that is, however, interrupted by a shower of colored "atoms."
These red, yellow, and blue dots represent elementary particles in motion, an invisible dance that makes up the reality around us.
The contrast between the fluid base and the precision of the suspended points reflects my vision of the series: small visual jewels where the order of the concept meets the explosion of matter.
Valeria Pianese, who signs her works with the pseudonym “Berry,” is a Neapolitan artist living in Zurich whose visual research explores the relationship between color, emotion, symbolism, and consciousness as the primary means to peer into the depths of the human soul. Influenced by Mediterranean European culture and literature and by an interest in behavioral psychology, Valeria conceives art not only as a tool for investigating experience and reality, but also as an inner transformation and a process of ongoing research. His technique is characterized by an experimental and intuitive approach that combines chromatic layering and active painting, creating material surfaces and compositions vibrant with energy between abstraction and emotion. His works therefore move in a liminal space between sensory perception and philosophical reflection, inviting the viewer to question the way images influence the way we feel and understand the world.
