About this artwork
In this work, the artist has poured the soul of abstract creativity, using acrylics, oil and ink to intertwine lively emotions. Each brushstroke represents a dance of colors and shapes, inviting reflection and the joy of living. This artistic expression is a dialogue with the viewer, bringing vibrant energy and a breath of freedom to any space.
« Sometimes a mystical feeling leads me to seek the purest creativity, to an introspection where emotions and feelings arise that I try to capture in a simple and direct way. »
Valeriano Cortázar is a Spanish painter whose works have been exhibited internationally. His work is present in private collections in the United States (NY, Los Angeles), Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, China (Hong Kong), and Spain. The synesthesia between music and painting allows him to experience sensations that move him and make the subconscious emerge spontaneously. Through his art, Cortázar expresses his emotions freely, without representing or symbolizing anything concrete, exploring matter and guided by what shapes, colors, and textures suggest. Since music is one of his main sources of inspiration, all his pieces bear the title of musical compositions.
