About this artwork
This Art - work is part of the project "Insect life".
The paint is made in the author's technique of painting by Vasili Zianko based acrylic painting on canvas using a variety of textures, washes, the finest glazing, volumetric contours.
The project consists of 15 paintings measuring 100 × 80 cm, made with acrylic paints on canvas using the author's technique. These works represent a single whole compositional space. The central art work №8 depicts… the circle. The circle symbolizes the Beginning and End of everything that exists in this world. This is the starting point of life and its completion. It is also a solar sign, solar power and the energy . Sun color is present in the images of the insects in all other art works of the project as a symbol of vital Sun energy .

Vasili Zianko is an artist based in Austria whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions in Belarus, Russia, and Poland. Through his works, he explores the complex relationship between nature and humanity, philosophical problems, environmental concerns, violence against women, historical images, and multifaceted characters. Zianko's most recent compositions incorporate a relief technique in braille, conveying famous poetic passages of international authors.
