Abstract painting is something like seeking the truth. My own truth.
Every painting is a part of that endless story, but still it is always a great challenge to take another step in that journey.
Imagination is given to us so we could make our everyday exciting and real at the same time.
When an observer finds a piece of his world, his own truth, in my painting, then my art comes to life.
Colors, lines and forms are the only path that I choose.

Veljko Martinovic is an award-winning Serbian artist whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Montenegro and Macedonia. For him, abstraction is an art form that gives absolute freedom, it also the best way for him to describe and communicate his feelings. Martinovic is most comfortable creating large-format canvases and his bold compositions are painted using acrylics.
